The Idea:

We live in a time where it is possible to escape some natural limitations through gene-editing, escape the Earth through space-travel, and even escape worldly experiences through virtual reality. Yet while we keep finding ways to escape and challenge the external world, we still fail to escape the internal — that is, our individual senses, thoughts, and feelings.
